Planning Coordinator

MISSION
The Planning Coordinator is an integral member of the Prefabrication team. The Planning Coordinator serves as the central hub for teamwork and collaboration among members of the Pre-fabrication department and those disciplines that interact with the department.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide administrative support to all Pre-Construction Services personnel.
• Develop and maintain department pre-construction schedule.
• Responsible for receiving, organizing and distributing project documentation to relevant Pre-Construction team members.
• Schedule all inter- and intradepartmental meetings involving prefabrication department.
• Record key notes and action items at select meetings, distribute to team.
• Initiate and track project close out debrief results.
• Assist with pre-construction startup transition from notice of award to execution.
• Prepare and process AP, cost-coding and reports related to Prefabrication department.
• Develop label sets and shipping labels per requisition.
• Develop and maintain department work orders and time tickets.
• Additional projects/duties as requested.

SKILLS
• Proficiency in relevant computing applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, web browser)
• Strong mathematical skills; basic arithmetic and algebraic functions.
• Costings skills: strong knowledge of project costing, use of cost coding structures and their importance to effective cost-accounting practices.
• Maintain records and files in an organized manner for prompt retrieval.
• Experience with Spectrum preferred.
• Experience with Primavera P6, or MS Projects preferred.
• Ability to accept responsibility and ownership as it relates to the position’s duties and expectations.

REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma
• Three years experience of related A/E/C industry experience in construction operations, estimating, scheduling or related role.
