Holiday lights on Chester Avenue are a go this season thanks to A-C Electric Co., PG&E and other supporters, the Downtown Business Association announced Wednesday.
PG&E contributed 30,000 energy-efficient LED lights for the effort. Flashco is providing aerial lifts, while A-C Electric and volunteers from the local electrical workers union will provide manpower.
Installation will take place from 7 to 11 a.m. Friday. The lights will be up and running in time for the downtown Christmas parade at 6 p.m. Dec. 4.
