High school district to save millions in energy costs

The Kingsburg Joint Union High School District is projected to save a substantial amount of money over the next 20 years and also conserve energy in the process. The district will save $2.1 million by installing numerous solar panels throughout the high school campus. The estimated savings in the first year will be $36,500. “The money savings can be invested in students and programs,” said Superintendent Randy Morris.
