Service & Special Projects Manager

A-C Electric Company is growing rapidly and has an immediate need for a full-time Service and Special Projects Manager (SSP) in Riverside, CA.

The mission of the SSP’s is to develop and maintain a profitable customer base and serve them in a safe and efficient manner. This position has room for professional growth opportunities across various operational divisions and locations.

• Recruit, develop and retain a team of competent service technicians

Skills:

• Project Management and negotiation
• Communications: Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Codes: Knowledge of Universal Building Codes and building materials and techniques
• Plans: Ability to read, understand and edit electrical and structural plans
• Budget/Schedule: Ability to create and manage a schedule and budget to required margins
• Personal Organization
• Computer Literacy: Proficiency on a PC computer in MS Office, emphasis on Excel, Outlook and Project

Requirements:

• Education Req: 4 Yr B.A. degree in Construction Management, Engineering or comparable discipline, or relevant, equivalent experience
• Design Standards: Strong understanding of the codes (NEC, IEE, ISA) and the ability to reference each as required
• Experience Req: Minimum 8 years of electrical project management experience
• Experience Req: Minimum 3 years of electrical field work (union or non-union)
