Mission
The A-C Electric Company Internship Experience Program offers a diverse, personalized learning journey. You will gain practical skills, develop professionally, and explore various career paths within our organization. Over the course of this 10-week summer program, you will gain practical HR skills, develop professionally, and explore various aspects of human resources within the construction industry.
About You:
- We are looking for humble and hungry, agile students who have a drive for results, a desire to learn, and who can quickly build relationships.

Desired Majors: Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Communication, Industrial-Organizational Psychology
Key Responsibilities:
Over the course of our 10-week internship experience you will have the opportunity to:
- Work directly with an HR mentor to gain hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee engagement initiatives
- Assist in updating and maintaining employee records in compliance with company policies
- Support planning and coordination of employee events, meetings, and training sessions
- Participate in Book Club assignments to enhance communication and leadership skills
- Contribute to HR strategy discussions with company leaders
- Assist in developing and executing a LEAN project related to HR process improvement, culminating in a formal presentation
- Help implement HR tools, systems, and resources that enhance organizational efficiency
- Provide administrative support for HR projects and programs
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
- Ability to work full-time for 10 weeks during Summer 2026
- Enrolled student attending a college or university with an expected graduation on or before August 2027
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- We’re looking for students who have shown solid academic performance — at least a 3.0 GPA in upper-division courses for your major, or a 2.75 GPA overall.
- Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations.
- Strong technical experiences as demonstrated through technical projects, research, or engineering internships.
- Exceptional communication skills, interest, and enthusiasm related to electrical engineering and/or construction.

Pay range: Pay Range: $16.50/hr. - $22.00/hr. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
