City of Bakersfield – TRIP Project, Westside Parkway

A-C Electric Company delivered comprehensive electrical and civil infrastructure for the Westside Parkway segment of Bakersfield’s TRIP (Thomas Roads Improvement Program) initiative. Our scope included installing 74 miles of underground raceway, 24+ miles of fiber optic cabling, 814 vaults, lift stations, high-voltage utility relocations, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). We self-performed complex utility coordination, traffic control, and broadband SCADA integration across multiple water agencies—all while protecting sensitive wildlife habitats and maintaining public access. Extensive offsite prefabrication and innovative construction methods allowed us to accelerate the schedule and complete this large-scale infrastructure project on time and without claims.
