Kaiser Permanente — Emergency Department Expansion

A-C Electric Company was selected as the electrical partner for Kaiser Permanente’s high-priority Emergency Department Expansion in Fresno, delivering full design-assist and design-build services. Our scope included critical power infrastructure upgrades from the Central Utility Plant (CUP), a new electrical duct bank, and state-of-the-art lighting with antimicrobial UVA/UVB technology. We installed essential systems including fire alarm, security, CCTV, nurse call, and power for mission-critical imaging equipment. A-C’s in-house BIM coordination, innovative problem-solving, and prefabrication strategies ensured seamless integration with the operational Level 1 trauma center while enhancing safety, minimizing disruptions, and reducing project costs.
