A-C Electric Company provided full electrical and low voltage conduit installations for a cutting-edge, 600,000 sq. ft. cold storage distribution center featuring an 80-ft ceiling height and integrated robotic racking and retrieval systems by Witron. The facility includes advanced freezer areas, banana ripening rooms, a hydrogen storage farm, truck maintenance garage, fuel station, and fire pump house. Our scope covered major power distribution, site-wide medium voltage loop, site lighting, vehicle charging stations, and a backup generator facility. A-C utilized BIM for risk mitigation, prefabricated riser kits, and deployed temporary power to maintain schedule while awaiting long-lead equipment, all while overcoming complex overhead and high-ceiling installation challenges.
